The frame is a place to fill, a means of expression, a constraint to break free of, and a perspective.  Within and through framing, I delve into intensely personal and universal themes that shift as my views of and needs for expression evolve.  All of my work is metaphor; I utilize image as language to represent concepts and frame perspectives on the ever-changing complexities of human interaction and introspection.  Inflections express a tenuous bond between our innate desire to be understood and the danger of overexposure.  As inflection and meaning intertwine to form truer communication, my art seeks a fusion of physical and psychological.  Visceral, images manifest as subtle, sensual, and natural, in moments physically/psychologically perilous contextualized through evidence of the media either with subtle touches or by bringing process to the forefront.
