Stacey Stormes grew up with art.  The daughter of a teacher and a photographer, she began exploring photography at the age of ten using black and white darkroom techniques.  She continues to be in a constant state of making and exploring media - photography and printmaking to video, installation, and interactive media.  Stacey is an interdisciplinary artist, who holds a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in printmaking from the University of South Florida and a Masters of Fine Arts in Interdisciplinary Arts and Media from Columbia College Chicago.  Her work has been exhibited nationally, including Chicago, Baltimore, Columbia, SC, Art Basel Miami, New York City, and a collaborative installation as visiting artist at Salisbury University, MD.  In her work she frequently collaborates with other artists and performers, including dance group Core Project for whom she is company photographer and regular guest artist.  Her dance photography has also allowed her to shoot for the Dance Center of Columbia College Chicago, The Seldoms, and Shelter Repertoire Dance Theatre, among others.  Currently Stacey is Cinematographer and Video Editor for the Media Innovation Team, USF University College, at University of South Florida.
