here & there & near & far is a web-based video installation. The web-installation along with a series of stills from the videos were exhibited as a solo exhibition at the William and Nancy Oliver Gallery, Tampa, FL in January, 2004. The piece is an interactive video exploration utilizing elements of web design, video, poetry, and movement. In the videos, a mirror is used not only as a conceptual point but also as a physical space. The viewer is encouraged to pause and restart portions of the videos in order to affect the artwork as it is viewed. High band width is required to view this work as it is media heavy and takes a while to load.
